Meet The Team

Chiropractor
Mitchell E. Derrick BA, D.C.
After over 25 years of experience, how can I possibly be that old, I've discovered a few things. Patients want to be seen the day they hurt, not two days or two weeks later. They want a great adjustment. They don't want it to hurt. They want to pay a fair price. They want a friendly office with a friendly chiropractor that cares. Pretty simple. Very reasonable.
I like simple. Give a great adjustment at a reasonable price. Be serious when we need to be. Share some stories and humor when we can. No pressure at my office. You want one adjustment, see how it goes, perfect. Been in an accident, need some massages for that, you got it. Let us know how we can help.
My massage therapists are some of the best human beings you will ever meet! Very knowledgeable, very caring, great hands! They are so good at so many different massage techniques. I love options. Patients love them.
My front staff is my family. Lisa, my wife of 30 years, is the office manager but with grandbabies on the way, probably not going to be around as much. You understand. Reagan, my youngest daughter, is so darned friendly, patients like her a lot. Me too.
Anyways, that's me, that's us. We look forward to meeting you.

Massage Therapist
Donna, LMT
After graduating from Seattle Massage School with honors in May of 1999, I have continued to pursue my passion for bodywork.
Pursing many courses of continuing education, I have accomplished over 2,000 hours of education in my chosen field. The breadth of my education includes Somatic bodywork, Lomilomi, Thai massage, Injury treatment, TMJ certification, and a myriad of energetic modalities.
All of this has served to refine the intuition that is needed to deliver a unique massage experience tailored to benefit each individual client.

Massage Therapist
Sandy
Patient care and helping others has always been my passion. After retiring from a 30-year career in cardiac ultrasound I became a Massage Therapist in 2010. Massage and Chiropractic care has been a part of my life for over 40 years I've personally experienced how essential they both are to overall health and well being.
I specialize in injury treatment using traditional Swedish, deep tissue, PNF maneuvers, pin and stretch techniques, and trigger point therapies. Whether your pain is caused from long days at a computer, a fall, car accident, a work injury, or you're in need of decreasing stress and increasing relaxation, I can help!
Healing begins as we put together the puzzle of triggers and events that lead to your system becoming out of balance. Establishing a treatment plan and relationship with empathy and compassion we'll begin to decrease pain and promote the healing process. Working together achieving better outcomes with a solution-focused approach to healing.

I guess I should probably acknowledge that I'm the oldest practitioner in the office and have no intention of relinquishing that title; I hope to keep providing healing touch for several years at least. Before formally focusing on healing arts and the human body I experienced an eclectic mix of vocations including juvenile corrections and noxious weed enforcement.
But now massage therapy has been my vocation for over 15 years, and I have to admit I sincerely enjoy allowing people to feel better.
They call what I do "injury treatment" but in all honesty that treatment mostly accrues in the context of a relaxation massage. I would describe my style as one part Bob Haase's "Massage with Confidence" and "Secrets of Deep Tissue"; one part Kim & Jim Heartley's "Heartspire Lomilomi"; and one part my interpretation of my mentor's teaching along with 15 years experience. My view of massage is that it is the physical manifestation of my prayer for my clients wellness.

Office Manager
Lisa
It's my job to make sure our patients are taken care of in regards to insurance. I find out their coverage and explain their benefits. However I can help I will. Many times I will be on the other end of the line when patients call.
I am the proud mother of three beautiful grown girls with a handsome little grandson on the way. If I'm not at the office when patients are here, odds are I will be hanging out with the little guy. He has replaced Dr. Derrick as my favorite. Dr. Derrick understands.

Receptionist
Reagan
My responsibility is to make sure our patients know how much we appreciate them. I answer phones, schedule, take payments, answer questions, things like that. If I don't know the answer to patient's question, I will find out as soon as possible and get back to them.
When I'm not at the office I like to hang out with friends and sometimes hang out with my parents but they annoy me sometimes so not that often. I sing in my church choir and I'm learning to cook something other than macaroni and cheese.
